Technology-enriched Learning Environment changes for 2015-2016

Students using laptops in the Business and Information Technology Building

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) has made changes to the Technology-enriched Learning Environment program for the upcoming academic year.

Business-class Dell laptops will be provided to new students and those eligible for a hardware refresh. For more information on the different models, please see the Current learning tool models page on the Information Technology (IT) Services website.

In addition, IT Services has reviewed the technology requirements for individual programs. This has resulted in reduced costs as well as changes to the technology-enriched learning environment fee structure. While there is an overall reduction in fees, some programs with more demanding technology requirements will remain in the same fee category. For detailed information on fees, please see the 2015-2016 fees and refund schedule page.
